OUR
SCHOOL RULES

– Tell the TRUTH then you are TRUSTED.
– RESPECT yourself, others, and our school.
– Always be READY to learn.
– You make the choices that keep us SAFE.

The Governors work closely with the Headteacher and staff to help guide and develop Billingborough’s behaviour principles.

At Billingborough we, the staff and Governors, believe that, in accordance to our vision and values, all staff will work collaboratively and constructively with children to ensure they understand the expectations we have for them in terms of their behaviour and conduct in school. This is based on a commitment to spend time ensuring that children are given clear boundaries, encouraged to reflect on and learn about how their behaviour affects others and to support them in developing empathy with those around them. This will be fostered within a calm and purposeful environment in which the development of respectful relationships is seen as a priority. We will communicate clearly with parents about important issues or events regarding the behaviour of their children and work in partnership with them to support their children.

Please see below for the school’s recent Behaviour Update, and Behavour Policy which also includes our approach in tackling bullying and discrimination.

Anti-bullying at
Billingborough

Bullying in our school is unusual and if it happens we act to put things right quickly. But bullying can happen out side of school too: at a club or in the park. It can also happen online so it is important for us to know what to do should we experience it ourselves or see someone else who is on the receiving end of bullying.

There are more details about staying safe online on our Online Safety page. Below, you will also find some useful links.
